The Coffee County Middle School Lady Raider basketball team has accepted an invitation to compete in the Class AAA TMSAA Section 2 Tournament being held this week at Stewarts Creek. After finishing in 3rd place in the CTC postseason conference tournament, Coffee Middle will enter the sectional as the 3rd seed from Area 6 in the 8 team tournament. The Lady Raiders will open up tournament play on Monday night at 7:15 PM at Stewarts Creek Middle School in Smyrna against an opponent from Rutherford County. The winner of the sectional tournament will advance to the inaugural 4 team TMSAA middle school state tournament which will also be held at Stewarts Creek on February 8th and 9th.
