Congratulations to Student of the Week -Kendra Walden!!! Kendra is an eighth grader at Westwood Middle School. Kendra is the daughter of Jake and Amanda Martel. Kendra was nominated by Mrs. Dolack because, “Kendra is conscientious, caring and helpful. Kendra noticed a friend in need. Her kindness and compassion are an example to us all.” Kendra reading, cross-stitching and 3-D puzzles. Kendra plans to go to college and become a veterinarian. Kendra says that she loves animals and that she hates to see them hurting.
Rosalyn Partin, owner of the Manchester H&R Block, has been inspired to recognize great kids in our community all through hockey season. What does hockey season have to do with our local students? Well, H&R Block gives each Student of the Week a set of Nashville Predators Hockey tickets, a commemorative plaque, as well as a special letter of recognition.
