Coffee County Middle School Lady Raiders Advance in CTC Tournament

The Coffee County Middle School Lady Raider basketball team opened up CTC tournament play on Wednesday night in Tullahoma.  Coffee County squared off against Warren County in the quarterfinal round of the single elimination tournament.  In a game you heard here on Thunder Radio, the Lady Raiders punched their ticket for the semifinals with a 35 to 9 win over the Lady Pioneers.

After Warren County opened the game with a 4 to 0 lead in the first 3 minutes, Coffee Middle held Warren County to 5 points in the final 3 and a half quarters to roll to the semifinals.  Alivia Reel led the Lady Raiders in scoring with 14 points as she was named the Crazy Daisies player of the game.  Chloe Gannon and Olivia Reel each added 7 points as Coffee Middle improves to 14 and 6 on the season.

Coffee County will advance to Thursday afternoon’s semifinal matchup with top seeded White County.  That game will tip-off at 5 PM at Tullahoma High School.
