The Red Raider defense of the Coffee County Middle School baseball team gave up 6 unearned runs in the second inning in a 13 to 3 loss to North Franklin in Winchester on Monday night. The Raiders grabbed an early lead after Jalen Morris, who reached base on a triple, was singled home by Hayden Skipper. That lead was erased by walks and errors as the Gators sent 12 hitters to the plate in the 2nd inning. Hayden Skipper and Garrett Davis were each 2 for 3 at the plate to lead Coffee County on offense. The Raiders return home on Tuesday night for the second game in the series with the Gators. First pitch is set for 5 PM at CCMS.
