The Tennessee Titans won over the Detroit Lions in overtime at LP Field, with a final score of 44-41.
Detroit sent the game to OT on the last play of regulation.
Rob Bironas kicked a 26-yard field goal in overtime, and the Titans stopped backup quarterback Shaun Hill on fourth-and-1 at the Tennessee 7 to get the win. Bironas had missed two field goals earlier in the game.
The Titans had five touchdowns in their strongest offensive showing of the season.
Titans quarterback Jake Locker went 25-for-34 during the first four quarters, with 350 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
Running back Chris Johnson did not look good again with 13 carries for only 32 yards. Wide receivers Kenny Britt and Kendall Wright had six receptions each.
Veteran Nate Washington extended his streak of consecutive games with at least one reception to 65. Washington’s 71-yard touchdown reception in the fourth quarter tied his record for longest career reception.
Darius Reynaud added a 105 yard kickoff return for another Titan score.
Tennessee plays at Houston this Sunday.
