The Westwood tennis team opened play on Monday afternoon at Fred Deadman Park with a split decision against Warren County. The Westwood boys got singles wins from Jaret Kemper, Caleb Simmons and Braeden Massicotte and the doubles wins from the teams teams of Kemper/Simmons Massicotte and Ricardo Ayala to notch the 5 to 2 win. The Lady Rockets were swept by the powerful Lady Pioneers squad. The Westwood netters will take on Coffee County Middle School on Tuesday at Fred Deadman Park. First matches are set to get underway 4 PM.
