The Westwood soccer team traveled to Sewanee on Thursday for a conference match with St. Andrews-Sewanee. Westwood saw the Lady Lions capitalize on a goal in the closing seconds of the first half to capture a 1 to 0 halftime lead. The Lady Rockets shut out St. Andrews in the second half but could not get the tying goal as they fell 1 to 0.
Westwood is back in action on Tuesday when they travel to Bedford County to take on Liberty. That match will kick off at 5 PM.
