The Westwood Rockets boys played a very strong first half against a high powered Liberty offense but fell 36-26 in the DRVC Tournament. The Rockets played sound defense and rebounded very well allowing Liberty only one shot on offense and eliminating second chance points. On offense the Rockets moved the ball well and attacked the basket with force putting Liberty into some foul trouble in the first half. In the second half points were hard to come by and Liberty found was to score from long distance. The Rockets fought hard and played one of their best games of the season even in the loss.
7th graders Carlos Medina and Sigmund Duke each had 6 points to lead the Rockets scoring.
