Stout Signs To Play College Golf With TSU

On Monday evening Andy Stout a recent graduate of Coffee County High School signed scholarship papers to play college golf for Tennessee St University in Nashville.
Stout was a 4 year starter for the Red Raiders and was named All-District all of those seasons. He earned team MVP honors for 3 years. Last season Stout played in number one slot most of year that saw the Raiders set many school records including 96 wins out of 103 matches. Stout led the Raider golfers to only their 2nd district championship in history when he shot 5-under 67. That score won him the individual championship as well.
TSU competes as a Division 1 golf school and plays in the Ohio Valley Conference for Head Coach Parrish McGrath.
Based on last year’s average scores by Tiger players last season Stout should compete for starting job as a freshman.
The TSU Tigers play a short schedule in the fall and a full schedule in the spring including the OVC championship.
