It was a night for the long ball as Coffee County hit 3 homeruns in an 11-1 win over Cookeville in District 6-AAA softball play. Anna Spellings led the way with a grand slam and a 3-run blast. Spellings finished with 7 RBI’s and was named the Gateway Tire and Service Center Player of the Game. Niki Campbell had a triple, double and a solo homer. Brianna Jones got the win.
Coffee Co. plays again Monday at home for Senior Night starting at 7pm.
