The Central High School soccer team opened the 2014 season at home on Tuesday as they took on perennial power Soddy-Daisy. The visiting Lady Trojans used an effective attack in the first half to build a 6 to 0 lead. The Lady Raiders made some adjustments at the half to hold Soddy scoreless in the 2nd half, but could not find the back of the net falling by a final score of 6 to 0. The JV soccer team defeated Soddy-Daisy 3 to 1. Maggie Lashlee, Mackenzie Anderson and Karson Young had the 3 goals for Coffee County. The Lady Raiders will host Riverdale on Thursday in a 7 PM match at Carden-Jarrell Field.
