Westwood traveled to Eagleville Tuesday night to take on a very good Eagle team. The Rockets fell behind early in the first but battled back to take a 1 point lead going into half. After the break the Rockets were unable to get on track and slowly lost their hold of the lead. Westwood lost to Eagleville by 8 points, 37-29. The Rockets were led by Jakota Alexander with 13. Stephen Sullivan and Breyer Taylor added 6 points each.
Will Pannell head coach of the Rockets said after the game, “I know the boys took this loss hard but I feel that we will be able to learn from this loss and improve. The boys have been working hard and I believe we will be able to work on some things that hurt us tonight to improve for the rest of the season.”
The Rockets will look to rebound from this loss tonight when they will travel to Moore County.
