Rain nor Lincoln County Can Stop Coffee County

Brianna Jones powered the Coffee County Lady Raiders at the plate and in the circle Monday, helping the Lady Raiders to a 2-1 victory over Lincoln County. Jones racked up two RBIs on a double in the first inning and she struckout 7 Lady Falcon batters.
Jones was named the Gateway Tire and Service Center player of the game.
Rhianna Roberson was the only Lady Raider with multiple hits as she finished with 2 singles.
Lincoln County scored one run in the fifth before heavy rain caused a nearly one hour rain delay.
Coffee County improved to 16-3-1 and 9-0 in district and will play Columbia at home Tuesday night beginning at 6pm with Senior Night activities starting at 5pm. Thunder Radio will have the broadcast at 5:50pm.
