Coffee Co. trailed twice by 3 runs to White County but just kept chipping away to tie the game at 6 and send it to extra innings.
Going into the bottom of the 10th the Raiders got base hits from Tyler Cavender and Hunter Smithson. Zach Holmes running for Cavender was at 3rd when Zach Holder hit a high fly and the Warrior SS missed played and Holmes came home and beat the throw for 7-6 Coffee County win. Peyton Meeker picked up the win.
The Raiders play in the Clarksville Classic Friday and Saturday.
Smithson with 3 hits and 2 RBI’s was named the Gateway Tire and Service Center Player of the Game.
