Groundbreaking for the new College Football Hall of Fame in Atlanta will be January 28 and the museum is scheduled to open in the fall of 2014. The National Football Foundation, which runs the Hall of Fame, made the announcement Monday. The new site is in the Centennial Olympic Park area downtown near the Georgia Dome and World Congress Center.
