Preds fall in game 2; return home Friday
Juuse Saros made 28 saves in Game 2, but the Predators were unable to solve Carolina on Wednesday night, as Nashville fell to Carolina by a 3-0 final. The result sees the Canes take a 2-0 series lead in the best-of-seven matchup as things now shift to Nashville. Coffee County Central High School’s Red Raider football team welcomes the public to its spring Red and Black scrimmage – set for 6 p.m. Thursday, May 20 at Carden-Jarrell Field. Titans sign former Vandy receiver
The Titans have added former Vanderbilt receiver Kalija Lipscomb to the team’s roster. Lipscomb took part in the team’s rookie minicamp over the weekend as one of four tryout players, and he was signed on Monday. Also on Monday, the Titans waived receiver Rashard Davis and linebacker Davin Bellamy (non-football injury). In four years at Vanderbilt, Lipscomb caught 198 passes for 2,356 yards and 22 touchdowns.
