Coffee County and Tullahoma each got scoring opportunities in the final minute of play but their middle school soccer match ended in a 1 to 1 draw on Thursday. The speed of the Tullahoma forwards, coupled with several missed scoring opportunities sent the Coffee County CHS soccer team down to a 5 to 1 defeat on Thursday night in Tullahoma. A pair of Wildcat goals by Shannon Reagan in the 7th and 17th minutes put Tullahoma ahead 2 to 0 at the half. Fundraiser Announced for CCMS Baseball
The Coffee County Middle School baseball is holding a Ford/Lincoln Drive for Your Team fundraising event on Saturday, September 19th. The event, sponsored by Al White Ford/Lincoln, will run from from 10 AM until 4 PM in the parking lot of Metro Industrial, across from Al White. Folks wishing to help are asked to come by to test drive a new Ford at NO OBLIGATION. Ford Motor Company will make a donation to the baseball program for each test drive taken on that day. A 35 yard 4th quarter touchdown run by Tanner Hulvey lifted the Coffee County Middle School football team to a 28 to 24 victory over Harris on Tuesday night at Carden-Jarrell Field. After failing to convert on a first and goal at the end of the first half, the Raiders went to the locker room down 16 to 14. Westwood Cross Country Sweeps Races at Warren County
Starting the season as they ended it last year, the Westwood Rocket Cross Country teams had a strong showing in their first meet of the season on Tuesday at Warren County.
