Facing their 3rd straight tough matchup, the Coffee County CHS volleyball team welcomed the Columbia Lady Lions to the Joe Frank Patch on Tuesday night for a pivotal district matchup. In a match heard here on Thunder Radio, the Lady Raiders battled back from an early deficit to claim a 5 set win over Columbia. The Lady Raiders won by set scores of 26-24, 17-25, 21-25, 25-23 and 15-12. The Coffee County Lady Raider soccer team traveled to McMinnville to take on Warren County on Tuesday and came home with a 4 to 0 win. The Lady Raiders outshot the Lady Pioneers 19 to 5 on the match as they controlled play for the majority of the game. The Coffee County Middle School soccer teams stepped out of conference action on Tuesday as they played host to Algood at the CCMS pitch. A Reagan Ellison hat trick lifted the Lady Raiders to a 5 to 2 win. Ellison got the scoring started for Coffee County as she notched an unassisted goal in the 5th minute. Despite a 4 touchdown performance from Marshall Haney, the Coffee County Middle School Red Raider football team fell on Tuesday night in Shelbyville 50 to 28 to the Harris Eagles.
