Volleyball was played Friday night at Coffee Middle School – but it was the secondary purpose for those in attendance and those on the court. When Coffee County Central’s volleyball team played Franklin County in Winchester back on Aug. 31, it was a 5-set marathon that lasted two-hours and required a strong comeback by the Lady Raiders to escape with a win. Coffee Middle went on the road and made quick work of Baylor Thursday, coming back home with a dominating 33-0 win.
