A 9 to nothing run to end the first quarter propelled the Lady Raider basketball team to their 20th year on the season on Friday afternoon as Coffee County defeated Tullahoma 57 to 32. The win advances Coffee County to the District 8AAA tournament semifinals on Saturday and also assures Coffee County a berth in the Region 4AAA tournament next week. Preds Comeback Falls Short in Loss to Wild

Motlow Bucks beat Southwest TN in OT, earn berth in JUCO national tournament
Motlow State freshman Dillon Smith scored five points in the final 19 seconds to force overtime, and the Bucks outscored Southwest Tennessee 13-2 in the extra period to beat the Saluqis 81-70 Wednesday night at Copperweld Arena. Smyrna’s Marianna Ford signs Letter of Intent to play soccer at Motlow State
Former Stewarts Creek High School soccer standout Marianna Ford recently signed a National Letter of Intent to continue her career as a student athlete at Motlow State Community College. Ford is currently a freshman student at Motlow and will have two years of soccer eligibility on the community college level.
