The Westwood baseball team kept their season alive on Tuesday night with a 10 to 4 win over Huntland in the elimination bracket of the Duck River Valley Conference tournament.  In a game that saw the 2 teams stay even through 4 innings, the Rockets scored 3 runs in the 5th inning and 3 runs in the 6th to grab the win. The Lady Raider tennis team traveled to Shelbyville on Tuesday night for the District 8AAA team tennis semifinals.  Facing off against the number 1 seeded Eaglettes, the Coffee County Lady Raiders fell by a final score of 7 to 0. Putting their prefect district record on the line on Monday, the Central High School soccer team traveled to Fayetteville to take on Lincoln County.  The Red Raiders got 4 goals from senior Breyer Taylor to capture the 4 to 2 district win.  The win improves Coffee County to 5 and 0 in district play. The Lady Rocket softball team of Westwood opened up play in the Duck River Valley Conference tournament on Monday night with a doubleheader in Shelbyville.  In the opener, Westwood dropped Riverside Christian 15 to 0.  In the nightcap, the Lady Rockets lost to Fayetteville 6 to 3. The Nashville Sounds scored in multiple late innings Monday night, but the comeback attempt came up short in an 8-3 loss to the Colorado Springs Sky Sox at Security Service Field.
