The Westwood baseball team opened the 2018 season on Tuesday playing host to non-conference foe Grundy County. The Rockets, looking for their 3rd straight year of improvement, tangled with the Yellow Jackets at Looney Riddle Field at Fred Deadman Park. Westwood rolled to a 12 to 2 win over Grundy County. Opening their season in Wartrace, the Westwood soccer team traveled to Cascade on Tuesday.  The 3 time defending conference champion opened up the season with the conference match on the road.  The Rockets got their season off to a strong start with a 3 to 1 win.
