Coffee County Central High School senior cheerleader Amanda McGowan signed a letter of intent to continue her cheer career at the college level.  McGowan accepted a scholarship offer from Martin Methodist in a ceremony at CHS on Wednesday.  McGowan completed the signing at CHS in front of family, coaches and teammates. The Westwood Rocket soccer team stepped out of conference on Tuesday night as they welcomed Tullahoma to Dyer-Bouldin Field.  Putting their perfect record on the line against a quality non-conference opponent, the Rockets captured an exciting 1 to 0 win. The Coffee County CHS soccer team returned home on Tuesday night to host Lincoln County.  Facing the Falcons after suffering several injuries this weekend in a tournament in South Carolina, the Raiders hoped to capture their first district win of the year.   After full time, the Raiders and the visiting Falcons settled for a 1 to 1 draw. After a thrilling comeback win on Monday, the Westwood softball team welcomed Riverside Christian to Lady Rocket Field on Tuesday.  With a 12 run first inning and a no-hitter from Emma Kidder, Westwood roared to an 18 to 3 win.  The win lifts the Lady Rockets record to 6 and 0 on the season. The Coffee County CHS baseball team returned to district play on Tuesday night in Tullahoma.  The Red Raiders tangled with their old rival the Wildcats at Grider Stadium. A 3 run 5th inning by Tullahoma was tipping point as Coffee County fell 4 to 1.
