The Lady Raider softball team welcomed district leading Lawrence County to Terry Floyd Field on Thursday night.  In a game you heard right here on Thunder Radio, Coffee County had few answers for Lady Cats pitcher Macy Birdyshaw.  Birdyshaw held the Lady Raiders to 4 hits as Coffee County fell 7 to 1. CHS Soccer Falls to Columbia

The Coffee County CHS soccer team traveled to Columbia on Thursday night for a district matchup with the Lions of Columbia Central.  After being knotted at the half, the Lions got the lone goal of the second half to get the 3 to 2 win. Coffee County got on the board first when Tyler Walker pushed a beautiful assist from Eric Randolph past the Lion keeper at the 20 minute mark.  Columbia knotted the game in the 26th minute but the Raiders answered in the 30th minute on a penalty kick from Briggs Haithcock.  Columbia tied the match one...

CCMS Baseball Falls to Middle Tennessee Monarchs

The Coffee County Middle School baseball team played host to the Middle Tennessee Monarchs on Thursday.  Hosting the Rutherford County team for the 2nd time in 3 days, the Red Raiders celebrated 8th Grade Night.  The Monarchs exploded for 3 runs in the 5th inning as they dropped Coffee Middle 7 to 3. A five run 1st inning was just enough on Wednesday as the Coffee County baseball team got a bounceback win over Shelbyville.  The Red Raiders snapped a 6 game losing streak and got their 10th win of the year as they won 5 to 2. Facing off in a regular season game for the first time in recent memory, the Coffee County Middle School and Westwood Middle School boys’ soccer teams squared off at the Raider Academy on Wednesday night.  In front of an overflow crowd, the Rockets used a pair of 1st half goals to jump start them to a 5 to 0 win over the Raiders. CHS Track Claims All Area Meet Title on Tuesday

The Coffee County CHS track teams got a pair of huge wins on Tuesday evening as they captured a pair of wins at the All Area Championships at Tullahoma. The Red Raiders and Lady Raiders each finished in first place in the 5 team meet. The Red Raiders outdistanced 2nd place Franklin County 201.5 to 179. CCMS Track Sweeps Monday Meet at Home

The Coffee County Middle School track team played host to Warren County, Harris and North Franklin on Monday. The Red Raiders captured 1st place as they outdistanced North Franklin 75 to 50. The Lady Raiders edged Warren County 55.5 to 51.5. North Franklin came in 3rd place with 51 points.
