Motlow State Community College basketball star Janna Lewis has been selected as one of only 40 student-athletes in the nation to participate in the 10th Annual National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Women’s Basketball Coaches Association All-Star weekend, beginning July 26 in Atlanta. Lewis, a rising sophomore from Butler High School in Louisville, was named the Tennessee Community College Athletic Association (TCCAA) Freshman of the Year following her outstanding 2017-18 season at Motlow, where she averaged 16.7 points, 8.7 rebounds, and 1.5 assists for the Lady Bucks. Rashaan Evans was a leader at the University of Alabama, where he helped guide the Crimson Tide to their most recent national title.
