The 15U Post 78 American Legion team traveled to McMinnville on Monday night to tangle with Post 173.  The Raiders squad was looking to get in their final tune-up before this week-end’s American Legion State Tournament.  The Raiders swept the doubleheader at Warren County High School 12 to 8 and 8 to 3. The Motlow State Lady Bucks soccer program recently welcomed Katherine Kimball to the program as she signed a National Letter of Intent to continue her career as a student-athlete at Motlow. Kimball, from Murfreesboro, was a homeschool student and represented the Middle Tennessee Golden Eagles. The Lady Raider softball team of CHS welcomed Moore County to Terry Floyd Field on Monday night for a summer scrimmage.  The 2 teams battled to a spilt in a pair of 5 inning games.  Moore County won the opener 7 to 2 while the Lady Raiders rallied to capture an 8 to 1 win in the nightcap.
