Sounds Extend Winning Streak to 14 Games with Walk-Off at First Tennessee Park

Anthony Garcia’s walk-off single in the bottom of the ninth inning lifted the Nashville Sounds to a dramatic, come-from-behind, 6-5 win over the Round Rock Express in front of 6,215 fans at First Tennessee Park Monday night. The win extended Nashville’s winning streak to 14 games, one shy of matching a franchise record 15 games set in 1999. CHS Volleyball Closes Out Preseason with Scrimmage Wins

The Coffee County CHS volleyball team concluded their preseason with a trip to McMinnville on Saturday for a 3 team, varsity/junior varsity scrimmage.  Taking on Cumberland County and Warren County, the Lady Raider varsity got a pair of wins while the JV team was 1 and 1 on the day. CCMS Soccer Closes Preseason with Scrimmage Tournament Win

The 14th Annual Kicking Cancer Playday proved to be another success for the Coffee County Middle School soccer team on Saturday.  6 varsity teams and 7 JV teams did battle in a series of scrimmage halves.  At the end of the day, the Lady Raider varsity and JV teams each finished with a record of 1 and 1.
