Hitting the road for their longest road trip of the year on Tuesday, the Red Raider football team of Coffee County Middle School headed to Rhea County. The Red Raiders, who have been close in both their match-ups this year, missed a 2 point conversion with 40 seconds to go in the game to send it to overtime. The Temple Baptist Christian School volleyball team hosted their first home game of the year on Tuesday night. Welcoming Dogwood Christian to the E.C. Temple Baptist Christian School Opens Season with Runner-up Finish in Knoxville Tournament
The Temple Baptist Christian School volleyball team opened the season in East Tennessee this past week-end. The Lady Eagles took part in the Crown College Tournament in Powell on Friday and Saturday. The Lady Eagles advanced to Saturday’s finals before falling and finishing in 2nd place. On Friday, the Lady Eagles opened the tournament against the host team from Powell’s Temple Baptist Academy.
