Hosting district leading Lincoln County on Tuesday, the Coffee County CHS soccer team welcomed the Lady Falcons to the Raider Soccer Field.  After fighting to a draw down in Fayetteville earlier in the season, Coffee County dropped their first district match of the year at home 3 to 1. The Motlow Lady Bucks scored three goals within a 14-minute span in the second half, including two by Kristen Heath, and held off powerful Itawamba (MS) Community College in extra time to earn a 3-3 tie Saturday afternoon at Franklin County High School in Winchester. The Lady Bucks (3-2-2) will travel to Meridian, Mississippi, this weekend for a pair of contests, facing the host team Friday at 3 p.m. before quickly turning around and playing Hinds Community College on the same field Saturday at noon.
