The Coffee County Middle School 6th grade basketball team closed out their season on Thursday night with a road trip to Warren County.  The Lady Raiders rolled to a 43 to 9 win over the Lady Pioneers.  The Red Raiders were not so fortunate as they fell by a final score of 41 to 21. Coffee County Red Raider football coach Ryan Sulkowski announced the 2019 Red Raider football schedule on Wednesday.  The schedule, announced during Wednesday’s Ryan Sulkowski Show, once again features 6 region games in the brutal Region 3-6A which encompasses the large Murfreesboro schools.  The non-region slate sees the return of local rivals Franklin County and Tullahoma with the return of a couple of teams who have been off the Coffee County schedule for a few years in Walker Valley and Spring Hill. Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced Wednesday that the club has activated goaltender Pekka Rinne from Injured Reserve. Additionally, the team has reassigned goaltender Troy Grosenick to Milwaukee (AHL). The Coffee County Middle School 6th grade basketball teams welcomed Cascade to the CCMS Gym on Tuesday night.  In the final home game of the year for the 6th graders, the Raiders and Lady Raiders came up with a pair of wins.  The Lady Raiders rolled to a 36 to 7 victory while the Red Raiders prevailed 38 to 15. Ryan Hartman scored twice and the Nashville Predators topped the Vegas Golden Knights on Tuesday night, 4-1. It’s Nashville’s ninth victory of the season with wins coming directly following each of its three losses to date.
