For the first time in 40 years, the Coffee County Central High School basketball teams have each claimed the regular season district title in the same season. A pair of wins on Friday night over Tullahoma gave the Raiders and Lady Raiders their 9th straight doubleheader sweep and clinched the #1 seed for the upcoming postseason tournament. In their first team shoot of 2019, the Coffee County Claybusters traveled to Christiana on Saturday to compete at Big Springs.  All 3 Raider teams captured first place titles.  For individual honors, the Claybusters captured 5 individual titles and 2 runner-up finishes. Blake Comeau broke a 1-1 draw late in the third period, and the Nashville Predators fell to the Dallas Stars by a 3-1 final on Saturday night. The result snaps a three-game win streak for the Preds and marks their second loss of the season to Dallas.
