Four members of the Coffee County CHS swim team will open up competition in the Tennessee Interscholastic Swim Coaches Association state meet on Friday in Nashville.  Senior Jack Beachboard, who qualified for multiple events, will compete in the 200 Individual Medley and the 100 breaststroke. Ryan Johansen scored 43 seconds into overtime to give the Nashville Predators a 3-2 win against the Dallas Stars at Bridgestone Arena on Thursday. Viktor Arvidsson passed the puck to Johansen, who beat Stars goalie Anton Khudobin from the slot for his 10th goal. Dallas’ five-game winning streak ended. Hitting the road for the first time in 4 weeks, the Coffee County Raiders and Lady Raiders failed to capture their 10th straight doubleheader sweep on Tuesday night in Winchester.  The Lady Raiders shot lights out in a 64 to 24 win.  The Red Raiders ran into an equally hot shooting Franklin County team as they fell 70 to 64.
