The Coffee County CHS baseball stepped out of district action on Thursday as they welcomed Cookeville to Powers Field. In a back and forth game, the Raiders saw Cookeville push across a run in the top of the 7th inning to claim the win.  Cookeville won by a final score of 6 to 5. Coffee County CHS Softball Opens Warrior Classic with Mercy Rule Win

The Coffee County CHS softball team opened up play in the Riverdale Warrior Classic on Thursday in Murfreesboro.  Squaring off against West Morgan out of Alabama, Coffee County got a no-hitter from pitcher Keri Munn and racked up 14 hits on the night to open tournament play with a win.  Coffee County won by a final score of 12 to 0. The Westwood Lady Rocket softball team traveled to Unionville on Thursday to take on conference foe Unionville.  Trailing entering the 6th inning, the Lady Rockets ripped 4 doubles and plated 4 runs to grab the lead.   Westwood held on for the 4 to 1 win. The Westwood soccer team returned to conference play on Thursday at home as they hosted Webb at Dyer-Bouldin Field.  Trying to shake off a 2 game losing streak, Westwood got a hat trick from Ian Weldon as they rolled to the 6 to 0 win. The Coffee County CHS tennis team hit the road on Thursday as they traveled to Pulaski.  Taking on district rival Giles County, both the Red Raiders and Lady Raiders got a pair of sweeps.  Each team by scores of 7 to 0. The Coffee County Middle School tennis team welcomed Shelbyville to their home courts on Thursday.  The Lady Raiders rolled to their 3rd straight win 5 to 4 over Shelbyville.  The Red Raiders suffered their first defeat of the year 5 to 2.
