The Iowa Cubs maintained control over the Nashville Sounds for most of the game in front of a sellout crowd of 10,010 at First Tennessee Park Saturday night. With two big innings in the third and seventh inning, Iowa ran away with a 10-4 win. The Coffee County CHS softball team opened up play in the Bob Jones Invitational on Friday with a pair of pool play games.  The Lady Raiders stayed perfect in their Alabama trip as they won both of their Friday games. The Coffee County CHS baseball team opened up play in the Rebel Classic on Friday night as they hosted games at Powers Field.  Coffee County squared off against defending state runner-up Brentwood.   The visiting Bruins pushed across a run in the 7th inning to get a 2 to 1 win and foil the Raiders upset attempt. The Westwood tennis team traveled to Tullahoma on Friday.  The Lady Rockets got their first match win of the year as they swept Tullahoma 7 to 0.  The Rockets fell in their match 6 to 1.
