Coffee County senior basketball player Abby Morgan signed her national letter of intent with Cumberland University on Thursday at a ceremony at CHS.  Cumberland, located in Lebanon, TN, competes in the Mid-South Conference as a part of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA).  Morgan, who played guard and wing for the Lady Raiders is expected to compete for playing time early for head coach Scott Blum. Another brilliant pitching performance by Jacob Holder led the Coffee County Middle School baseball to their 10th straight conference win on Thursday.  Traveling to Shelbyville for the game, Holder pitched a complete game no-hitter as the Red Raiders won 17 to 0 over Harris Middle School. The Coffee County CHS tennis team traveled to Winchester on Thursday night for their second match with the Rebels in a week.  Coffee County dominated the match sweeping both the boys and girls competition.  The Lady Raiders and Red Raiders each won by identical 7 to 0 scores. The Westwood Middle School softball team visited Fayetteville on Thursday for a conference match with Fayetteville City.  The Lady Rockets got the season sweep over the Lady Tigers with a 14 to 2 win.
