Coffee County Middle School soccer team opened up play in the CTC Conference Tournament on Wednesday as they hosted North Franklin. After scrapping out a hard fought win on Monday over North, the Red Raiders jumped on the Gators early in a 7 to 2 win. Abigail Layne Signs College Scholarship with Berea College on Wednesday
Coffee County Central High School senior Abigail Layne signed to continue her volleyball career at the college level on Wednesday in a ceremony at Central High School. Layne signed to play volleyball at Berea College in Kentucky surrounded by family, friends and coaches. Layne intends to pursue a degree in nursing. Berea is a member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and competes within Division III as part of the USA South Athletic Conference. The Coffee County Middle School golf team traveled to Lakewood Country Club on Tuesday for a match with Tullahoma. The Raider linksters came up short 8 ½ to 3 ½.
