Nashville Soccer Club dominated on the ball, but couldn’t dominate on the score sheet as the Boys in Gold drew 1-1 against Charlotte Independence on Saturday night at First Tennessee Park. Trace Bryant  opened up competition on Thursday in the TSSAA State Track Meet in Clarksville. Competing in the Division 1, Large Class decathlon, Bryant is the first Coffee County Red Raider to compete in the decathlon since 1997.  Despite finishing no lower than 10th in the 5 events on Thursday, Bryant will begin Friday in 12th place overall. Coffee County CHS senior baseball player Harley Hinshaw has decided to continue his baseball career at the college level on Wednesday.  To top it all off, he will not have to change team names.  Surrounded by family and friends, the senior pitcher and infielder made the decision official to become a Roane State Raider in the fall and play baseball.  Roane State Community College is located in Harriman, Tennessee and is a member of the Tennessee Community College Athletic Association. The Coffee County CHS Lady Raider volleyball team will host their 2nd annual “Volleybrawl” on Thursday night at the Joe Frank Patch Memorial Gym.  The event features a class competition between Coffee County CHS students to crown a champion.  Like it’s cousin, the Girls’ Powder Puff Football Game, the Volleybrawl teams will be coached by members of the Lady Raider volleyball team.  The event will get underway at 5 PM as the Juniors take on the Freshmen.  At 6 PM, the Seniors square off against the Sophomores.  The consolation game will be played at 7 PM with the championship...
