The Nashville Sounds erased a five-run deficit in Reno on Thursday night but then ran out of bullpen arms late and gave up a run in the bottom of the ninth for an 11-10 loss to the Aces at Greater Nevada Field. Coffee County Red Raider Basketball Team to Compete in Murfreesboro Team Camp

The Coffee County CHS Red Raider basketball team opens up camp play on Thursday in Murfreesboro.  The Red Raiders will take part in the 2 Day Oakland Camp.  The varsity Red Raiders will play 3 games on Thursday and 3 more on Friday.  The JV team will play 2 games each day. Local Travel Soccer Team Holding Tryouts

The Nashville Sounds couldn’t come up with the big hit in a 3-2 loss to the Reno Aces at Greater Nevada Field Wednesday night. Nashville out-hit Reno, 10-4, but went just 1-for-9 with runners in scoring position in their fourth straight loss. The Coffee County Lady Raider basketball team closed out the 2 day Shelbyville team camp on Tuesday. The varsity team bounced back from 2 losses on Monday with a win. The JV and freshmen teams both won giving the Lady Raiders a sweep on the day. Coffee County CHS Baseball to Host Summer Camp

The Coffee County CHS baseball will host a skills clinic on Monday, June 17th and Tuesday, June 18th at Powers Field. The camp is open to ages 5 to 17 years of age. The camp will run from 9 AM to 12 noon each day.. Campers will work with Head Coach David Martin, his high school staff (which includes Matthew Shepherd who pitched in San Diego Padres organization and J.V. Claybusters Have Good Showing at Region Championships

A perfect round of 100, with a team win, on Saturday and a 2nd team win on Sunday paced the Coffee County Claybusters in the Scholastic Clay Target Program(SCTP) Region 2 Championships in Nashville.  Landon Meadows shot a perfect 100 out of 100 to outpace the 2nd place shooter by 2 targets.  To make the result even more phenomenal, it was his twin brother Logan Meadows who shot a 98 to finish in second place.
