The Coffee County Central High School JV/Freshman volleyball team claimed the tournament title in the Coffee County JV tournament on Saturday.  The Lady Raiders capped off a perfect run through the tournament with a straight set win over Lincoln County in the title game.  Coffee County completed the day with a 6 and 0 record. The Sounds trailed for the first half of the game against the Cubs, took the lead in the sixth inning thanks to five runs. Christian Lopes launched a three-run home run in the inning, leading Nashville to a 7-5 win on Sunday. The Sounds scored twice to open the game in the first inning. The Nashville Sounds let a 3-1 lead slip away in the sixth inning and never recovered, falling 5-3 to the Iowa Cubs on Saturday night at Principal Park. The Coffee CHS soccer team opened up play in the SMT Tournament on Friday Night.  Matched up against LaVergne, the Lady Raiders jumped on the Lady Wolverines early and never let up.  Coffee County drilled LaVergne 6 to 0.
