CCMS Volleyball Sweeps South Franklin on Wednesday
The Coffee County Middle School volleyball team headed to Cowan on Wednesday night to take on South Franklin in their final conference match of the season. The Lady Raiders did a great job at the service line and passed the ball well in getting a straight set road win. Coffee County won by set scores of 25-4 and 25-15. The Westwood volleyball team made the long trek to Fayetteville on Tuesday to take on South Lincoln. The Lady Rockets fell in straight sets 25-14 and 25-11. The Coffee County Middle School soccer team traveled to Shelbyville on Wednesday night for a make-up game with Harris. Taking on the top ranked team in the conference, the Lady Raiders ran into an experienced and talented Eaglette squad. The varsity squad dropped a 7 nil decision while the JV battled hard before falling 2 nil. In the varsity game, the Lady Raiders were held to 1 shot, taken by Jasmine Norris.
