Coffee County Wrestling Splits 1st Home Matches of the Season

Alana Coker of CHS wrestling Hosting their first home matches of the year, the Coffee County CHS wrestling team welcomed Forrest and LaVergne to the Raider Academy on Thursday for a tri-match.  The Red Raiders opened the night with a 46 to 30 loss to LaVergne.  The Lady Raiders got a 36 to 6 win over LaVergne.  In the night cap, Coffee County’s boys beat Forrest 46 to 30. Coffee County Middle School Basketball Sweeps North Franklin in Thursday Doubleheader

The semifinal round of the Coffee County Youth Basketball League took place on Thursday night at CHS.  The 4 semifinal teams in each division did battle looking to reach Saturday’s finals.  In girls’ action, New Union grabbed a 28 to 19 win over North Coffee in the first semifinal.  Westwood raced past East Coffee in the nightcap 38 to 9.  In boys’ action, North Coffee held off New Union 23 to 17 to advance to Saturday’s finals.  They will match up against College Street who rolled over Westwood 31 to 9 Saturday’s schedule at CHS is:9:00 – North Coffee...

Mich Gloden of Temple basketball The Temple Baptist Christian School Eagles hosted their first home basketball game of the year on Thursday night.  Welcoming in Dogwood Christian of Tunnel Hill, Georgia, the varsity Eagles got off to a hot start to grab a 52 to 41 win.
