Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/GM David Poile announced Wednesday that the team has signed forward Sean Malone to a one-year, two-way contract for the 2020-21 season worth $750,000 at the NHL level and $100,000 at the AHL level. Malone, 25 (4/30/95), skated in 58 games with the AHL’s Rochester Americans in 2019-20, tallying 30 points (12g-18a), tied for the second-most on the team. Earlier this offseason, Henry signed a one-year franchise tag and the two sides began working on a long-term deal. The deal got done Wednesday prior to the NFL’s deadline for extensions with franchise-tagged players. Henry turned in the best year of his NFL career in 2019, when he was named the FedEx Ground Player of the Year and a Pro Bowler for the first time. Free-agent outfielder Yasiel Puig has agreed to a deal with the Atlanta Braves, a source told MLB.com’s Mark Feinsand on Tuesday afternoon. The reported deal is pending a physical, as well as a negative test for COVID-19 before Puig could join the club at camp. The Braves are waiting on Puig to pass his physical before formally announcing the signing.  Puig, a 29-year-old outfielder, played for both Ohio teams last season, hitting .252 with 22 homers and 61 RBIs in 100 games for the Reds before being dealt to the Indians in a three-team trade at the Trade Deadline....
