The Central High School cross-country runners had five top 10 finishers Tuesday at Henry Horton State Park. For the Lady Raider runners, Patricia Barrera took second overall with a time of 22:36. Coffee County Central looked to be going into halftime within striking distance of Blackman and possession of the ball coming to start the second half Friday night in Murfreesboro. The Westwood Rocket football team remains perfect on the season. Westwood used a strong defensive performance and a tough 25-yard touchdown run from Jaden Carter midway through the fourth quarter to pick up a 14-6 road win at Forrest Middle School Thursday night in Chapel Hill.
