Bucks Basketball Begins Soon
Ending the season as runner-up in your conference tournament is a noteworthy accomplishment. Doing it two years in a row is frustrating. Head coach Jerry Nichols and his Motlow Bucks have been there, done that – twice. With a solid group of sophomores returning and an influx of new talent, plus a revamped national tournament that offers Tennessee teams two opportunities to make it to Kansas, Nichols feels this is the year that Motlow brings home the gold ball. Sadler Shoots Career Low In State Tournament
(Soph.) Hollee Sadler was back on the course on Wednesday in the TSSAA golf championships held at Willowbrook in Manchester. Sadler shot 87 on day one of the tournament and came determined to play better on day two, and play better she did. She took on the toughest 9-holes at Willowbrook the back nine (10-18) and shot an impressive 2-over 38. Sophomore Coffee County golfer Hollee Sadler is competing in TSSAA Golf Championship at Willowbrook in Manchester. Sadler started her round yesterday (Sept. 25, 2012) on hole 10, playing the back nine first. She shot 45 for her first 9 holes and then took her round to front nine (first nine holes) and played better by scoring a 42 including a birdie on the 7th hole for an 87 total.
