Motlow Sports Update

Motlow (11-17, 2-5) has dropped five consecutive contests and is coming off a pair of 8-0 losses to nationally-ranked Wallace State late last week Fyffe, Ala.
Chattanooga State is 43-3 on the season and has won 19 consecutive games. The Lady Tigers are undefeated in conference play.
Roxanne Hillman (6-6) suffered the loss on the mound for Motlow in game one against Wallace State, allowing seven hits and five earned runs. The Lady Bucks managed only two hits, one by Meghan Brayton and one by Shelby Webb.
The Lady Bucks committed three errors in game two and only managed one hit, a fourth inning single by Danielle Davis. Kayla Green (5-10) took the loss on the mound, allowing six hits but only three earned runs.

The Motlow Bucks (28-16, 7-11) swept a doubleheader 4-0, 3-2 over Shorter University in Rome, Georgia on Monday. The Bucks return to TCCAA play when they travel to Dyersburg State for a three-game series this weekend.
