The Westwood and Coffee County Middle school golf teams welcomed Tullahoma and Fayetteville to Willowbrook on Monday for their first home match of the season. A good size crowd was on hand to enjoy the beautiful weather and a pair of close matches. In both boys and girls play, Tullahoma got the team wins and low round honors. In girls’ action, Fayetteville edged out Westwood for 2nd place by 2 strokes. Macie Lawrence Shot the low round for Westwood as she had a 65. Elizabeth Brown carded a 69 and Brayden Gray shot a 76. For Coffee County, Olivia Howell shot a 69 while Olivia Lewis carded a 72.
For the boys, Coffee County edged Westwood for 2nd place by 11 strokes. Logan Hale had the low round for the Raiders with a 49. Larson Meltzer shot a 59, Xavier Bartley had a 65 and Issac Pauley carded a 72. For Westwood, Christopher Robinson got around in 50, Nicolas Johnson had a 57, Andrew Green cared a 73 and Gavin Prater shot a 76. Westwood and Coffee Middle will be back in action next Monday when they welcome the teams from North and South Franklin for a 4 PM tee time at Willowbrook
