In game one Dallas Bryan knocked in Andrew Henley with the run that institute the 10 run rule. Daniel Gassman was the winning pitcher.
In game two with the district championship on the line the score was tied 4-4 in the 7th. Kyle Douglas doubled and later in the inning scored on a Dallas Bryan fielder’s choice making it 5-4 Manchester. In the bottom of the 7th Franklin County had the tying run at 3rd and a 3-2 count on the batter and tried to steal home but the runner was tagged out to end the game.
Manchester will play in the Babe Ruth State Tournament beginning July 20 in Lebanon.
