Lady Raiders Spike The Lady Cats

Coffee County defeated Tullahoma in 5 sets on Thursday night in an exciting non district volleyball match. Coffee County won the 1st 2 sets 25-18 and 25-18. Tullahoma rallied to even the match winning games 3 and 4 22-25 and 11-25. This set up an exciting 5th and deciding set that Coffee County won 15-8 to claim the victory. Coffee County was led in kills by Haley Banks who had 11 kills while Beth Kinser added 8 kills and Sydney Holmes had 7. Brooke Carter led the Raiders in aces with 5 while Katelyn Husted added 4 and Beth Kinser added 4, including 2 in the pivotal Game #5. Hollie Moore finished the night with 26 assists while Haley Banks led the team in blocks with 3. The Gateway Tire and Service Center Player of the Game was Beth Kinser.
Coffee will take part in the Warren County Tournament this weekend. Pool play begins at 10 AM as Coffee County takes on the host Pioneers. Coffee County’s next home game is Monday at 6 PM as they will take on Cookeville. 1st serve is at PM and you can hear the action hear on Thunder Radio.
