Jones’ 16 strikeouts helped Coffee County to the victory. Jones gave up just four hits in the shutout.
She also led the Lady Raiders offensive threat, as she got on base three times in the game. She also drove in the only run of the game when she doubled in Brittany Williams in the third inning.
Next up for the 27-5-1 Lady Raiders is match up against Shelbyville who lost to Tullahoma on Tuesday, game time 5pm. The winner will face the Lady Cats for the district tournament championship at 7pm. If Tullahoma loses a 2nd game would be played at 5pm Thursday.
