After spotting the Lady Falcons of Lincoln County a 2 run lead, Coffee County came roaring back to get a huge District 8AAA win on Monday in Fayetteville by a final score or 4 to 2. Lincoln County crushed the third pitch of the bottom of the first inning over the center field fence for a home run and a 1 to 0 lead. They tacked on an unearned run in the 2nd inning before Coffee County could finally push a run across in the 4th inning. Kasarah Scheller drove home Haley Hindshaw in the 4th as the Raiders added 2 runs in the 5th and another in the 6th to escape with the road win. Coffee County banged out 6 hits in the game as Raven Rogers had a double and Abby Woods and Paige Baker each had triples. Skipper scattered 8 hits with 6 strikeouts to get the win. Coffee County returns home on Tuesday night for Senior Night as Franklin County visits Terry Floyd Field. Game time is a t 7 PM and Senior Night activities are scheduled for 6:15.
